Dropbox Integration for 9Pic AI Photo Imports
9Pic AI adds Dropbox import for customers who asked for a direct cloud intake path beyond Google Drive.
Integration note: Dropbox import was introduced because teams that did not use Google Drive still wanted the same direct folder-to-gallery path in 9Pic AI.
A lot of customers already managed event media in Dropbox, so the goal was to meet that workflow instead of forcing a storage migration.
What launched
The Dropbox integration helps teams bring existing event photo folders into 9Pic AI without downloading, reorganizing, and re-uploading everything by hand.
Before this addition, Google Drive covered many cloud-storage workflows. Dropbox support expands the same intake idea for photographers, agencies, and organizers who already collect event folders there.
Why Dropbox import matters
Many photographers and agencies already use Dropbox for delivery and backup. That means event media often lands in shared folders before it reaches the organizer, gallery, or participant search workflow.
The integration is designed for that customer reality. If a team already has event folders in Dropbox, 9Pic AI can become the delivery and discovery layer instead of forcing everyone to switch to Google Drive first.
That makes adoption easier. The decision shifts from "change my storage" to "connect the folder I already use."
The hesitation this removes
Before Dropbox import, Dropbox-first customers had to move files through another upload route even when their event folders were already organized. After import, those same folders could feed a 9Pic AI event workflow where participants search, view, and act on their own photos.
What changed
Dropbox folder import
Move Dropbox event folders into a 9Pic AI event workflow with fewer manual steps.
Parity beyond Google Drive
Give Dropbox-first customers a direct cloud intake path instead of asking them to change storage tools.
Cleaner ownership
Keep Dropbox useful for storage while 9Pic AI handles search, gallery, and participant delivery.
Where teams can use it
- Photographers who already share post-event folders through Dropbox.
- Organizers consolidating photos from several contributors after a community event.
- Agencies migrating older event archives into a searchable participant gallery.
Rollout checklist
- Keep event folders clean before import: one event, one folder, clear subfolders.
- Remove duplicates and unrelated files before connecting the folder.
- Review imported photos inside 9Pic AI before sending the gallery link.
What this enables next
Dropbox import sits alongside Google Drive, Uplink, and web upload so teams can choose the right intake path for each contributor instead of forcing one upload method for everyone.
The larger goal is simple: let customers keep the storage workflow they already use, and let 9Pic AI handle the participant-facing part of the event experience.
