Yes. All processing happens in your browser using on-device AI (RMBG-1.4 by BRIA AI via Transformers.js). Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
The tool uses RMBG-1.4 by BRIA AI, a state-of-the-art background removal model that runs entirely in your browser via Transformers.js. It accurately segments any foreground subject — people, products, animals — with fine edge detail including hair and fur.
Four options: Transparent (PNG with alpha channel, perfect for design work), Solid Color (choose any color using the color picker or presets), Gradient (pick from beautiful presets or create your own linear/radial gradient), and Blur (adjustable Gaussian blur on the original background for a DSLR-like depth effect).
The tool works with a wide range of images — portraits, product photos, animals, objects, and more. RMBG-1.4 is a general-purpose background removal model trained on diverse categories, delivering excellent results for most subjects.
