Connect Meta Muse to 9Pic AI with MCP

Meta Muse can now talk to your 9Pic AI account. Add it as a custom connector, sign in once, and ask Muse about your events from the web, the mobile app or WhatsApp, including on the move at the finish line.

Connect Meta Muse to 9Pic AI: manage event galleries from Muse on web, mobile or WhatsApp

Server URL: https://mcp.9pic.ai/mcp. This is the third assistant on the same 9Pic AI MCP server, after Claude and Claude Code and Grok. Muse is offered in a limited set of countries, so check that it is available where you are.

Why Muse fits event days

Muse runs in the Meta apps many event teams already keep open, including WhatsApp. That makes it handy away from a laptop: a volunteer lead can ask whether the finish line gallery is live, or a race director can confirm how many photos are still waiting for processing, without opening the dashboard on a phone.

The connector uses your own 9Pic AI login, so Muse only reaches the organisations and events your role allows.

Add 9Pic AI as a custom connector

Muse lets you create a custom connector by describing it in a chat. Send Muse a message like this:

Create a custom connector.
Name: 9Pic AI
Transport: remote streamable HTTP
URL: https://mcp.9pic.ai/mcp
Auth: OAuth
  1. Send the message in Muse on the web, the mobile app or WhatsApp.
  2. When Muse opens the 9Pic AI sign-in page, sign in with your dashboard account and approve access. Never paste your password into the chat.
  3. Ask “List my 9Pic AI organisations” to confirm the connection.

If your Muse version shows a Connectors page in Settings, you can also choose to add a custom connector there and paste the same URL. Both routes end at the same 9Pic AI sign-in page.

Developers using Muse Code, Meta's coding agent, can add the same URL as a remote MCP server in its settings and sign in when prompted.

Prompts that work well in Muse

  • “Which of my events are still in draft?”
  • “What is the processing status for Sunday's half marathon?”
  • “Import the photos from the shared folder and preview processing them.”
  • “Publish the half marathon gallery.”
  • “How has gallery engagement looked since Monday?”

Short, specific prompts work best on a phone. Name the event, and the organisation if you belong to more than one.

Safeguards that come with the connector

Credits need your yes

Processing starts with a preview of the photo count and credits. Muse waits for your confirmation before anything is spent.

Publishing is reversible

Publishing opens the gallery to participants. Moving it back to draft stops access and keeps photos and settings.

No purchases

The connector never buys credits or changes your plan. Billing stays in the dashboard.

Your permissions only

Muse acts with your role. It does not return participants' photos or selfie search results to the chat.

Custom connectors are not reviewed by Meta, so only add servers you trust. For 9Pic AI, use exactly https://mcp.9pic.ai/mcp and sign in on the 9Pic AI page that opens.

FAQ

Does it work in WhatsApp?

Yes, wherever Muse can use your custom connectors. Once the connector is set up, you can ask about your events from any Muse surface on the same Meta account.

What if Muse asks for an API key?

Choose OAuth instead. The 9Pic AI connector signs you in through the 9Pic AI sign-in page and does not use Developer Zone API keys.

How do I disconnect?

Ask Muse to remove the 9Pic AI connector, or remove it from its connector settings. Access stops immediately.

What to do next

  1. Send Muse the connector details above and sign in with your 9Pic AI account.
  2. Ask for your organisations and events to confirm it works.
  3. Try a status check from your phone before your next event, so the team knows the routine.
