Product update: 9Pic Flow was already the reel layer for photo-based event videos. We are now integrating 9Pic Motion into Flow so video clips can be included in the final reel.
What is changing
9Pic Flow was already present in 9Pic AI as the reel layer for photo-based event videos. Teams could create different highlight outputs from event photos, participant signals, and event branding without hand-building every edit.
With the introduction of 9Pic Motion, we are integrating video clipping directly into Flow. Motion identifies useful participant clips from long-form event footage, and Flow can now include those clips in the final automated reel.
Why Motion matters for Flow
Photo-led reels are fast and scalable, but some event moments are stronger when they move. A finish-line sprint, a rider jump, a stage entrance, or a sponsor activation can carry more energy as a short video clip inside the reel.
The goal is not to replace the photo-first Flow workflow. The goal is to expand it: keep the speed of automated photo reels, then add Motion clips when video footage exists and the final reel needs more movement.

Flow still works for photo-first events. If an event only has photos, Flow can continue creating automated highlight reels from those photos, participant signals, and event branding.
When video exists, Motion becomes the clip source for Flow. The final reel can then combine still-photo moments with short video moments instead of choosing between one format or the other.
