9Pic Checkout Adds Direct PayMongo Integration with Zero Commission

9Pic Checkout now supports direct PayMongo integration so teams can sell event photos with their own payment account and zero 9Pic commission.

9Pic Checkout Adds Direct PayMongo Integration with Zero Commission

Payment option note: Direct PayMongo support introduced a locally familiar 9Pic Checkout payment option for teams that already use PayMongo.

We added it so teams in supported markets could keep payment ownership and fees easy to understand while selling photos in 9Pic AI.

What payment option launched

Direct PayMongo support introduced PayMongo as a payment option for event teams in supported markets selling photos through 9Pic Checkout.

The launch continued the checkout strategy: let 9Pic AI handle discovery, preview, and delivery while the organizer keeps payment ownership close to the business.

Checkout has to match the seller market

A photo-selling workflow only works if buyers can pay comfortably and sellers can reconcile payments cleanly. For teams already using PayMongo, a disconnected payment flow creates extra work.

PayMongo support gives those teams a direct route from participant discovery to purchase without forcing a different payment provider.

The zero-commission model also avoids a common objection from photographers and organizers: if the platform takes too much of the sale, the gallery feels less worth monetizing.

The hesitation this removes

Before PayMongo support, teams had participant interest but needed a checkout path that fit local payment expectations and did not erode margins. After PayMongo support, discovery connected to purchase with payment ownership and zero 9Pic commission.

What this introduced

PayMongo integration

Use a PayMongo account as the payment layer for 9Pic Checkout where supported.

Zero 9Pic commission

Avoid an additional 9Pic commission on photo sales while still using the 9Pic AI workflow.

Operational continuity

Keep reporting, refunds, and payouts closer to the seller payment stack.

Where teams can use it

  • Local photographers selling school, sports, and community event photos.
  • Organizers offering paid downloads after a race or premium event.
  • Agencies that need PayMongo settlement and reporting for client work.

Rollout checklist

  • Verify PayMongo account status before enabling paid galleries.
  • Run a test purchase with the same device flow participants will use.
  • Make delivery timing and download terms visible before checkout.

What this enables next

PayMongo support introduced another regional payment option for Checkout and made zero-commission photo sales more accessible.

It also reinforced the same buying principle across checkout launches: keep the participant close to the photo they value, and keep the organizer close to the payment relationship.
